I don't know about Simon and Garfunkel but it did remind me of Spirit's album the "Twelve Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus" and the song "Love Has Found A Way". They were a bunch of pop musicians that found LSD and came up with this album. Jay Ferguson, a member of the band went on to become a successful soundtrack composer. Randy California, songwriter and guitarist in the band, wrote a song that to me sounds very like Led Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven" which he called "Taurus". The funny thing is that song came out two years before "Stairway to Heaven"!!!!! Unfortunately, he dies young saving his son from drowning. The son got caught in a rip-tide and Randy swam out and pushed him near enough to the shore that the son managed to get to safety. Randy wasn't so lucky. As a dad, with a son, I know what was going through his mind and his own safety would have been last. So, So Sad!
